First Things First!
First things first – we’ll get together to plan your portrait session.  The planning will include your session location(s), props, outfits/style and how and where you might want to display your portraits.  The planning process is vital to your session and is the easiest way to avoid bad portraits.  You will leave our studio confident that you are ready for the next step.

Photo Shoot

Now that we have planned the entire session, you won’t feel anxious, uneasy, or nervous during the photo shoot.  You’ll have so much fun during your session, you won’t even realize we are guiding you through the session to get perfectly natural looks.

Create a Custom Order in Person

 We will get together after the photo shoot and go through the images you love the most.  All portraits are professionally retouched so they look perfect before you view them.  This is crucial when it comes to the ordering process–removing the guess work.

Once we have helped you pick your favorites, we will guide you through the best way to display your portraits and help you pick the right size and style of wall art for your space.  We get the fact that arranging art isn’t something you do every day, and it may even feel a little overwhelming.  The good news is that arranging portraits is something we do a lot of, and we would love to answer any of your questions and share with you what we’ve learned over the years. We would also like to show you all of the other various options that enhance your order like albums, books, cards, prints, etc. You will be amazed at what we can create together.

Professional Printing

Now that we have your favorite shots picked out, we’ll send your images to our Photoshop Guru for retouching to remove any blemishes or imperfections.  So don’t worry about the little things while we are shooting.  Our Photoshop Guru has 24 years of experience in retouching portraits, and he knows exactly how to remove just about anything, while keeping a natural look to the image.  Most of the time you will not even know that our images have been retouched at all.

Once your images have been retouched, they are sent to our lab.  Our lab uses an archival process to ensure the best quality for all of your print products.

The most exciting step is getting together to deliver your portraits.  We want you to be just as excited about your portraits years from now as you are on the day you receive them!

Portraits can be picked up in-studio during business hours or by appointment.  If you don’t live in the area, we offer shipping options as well.  All digital images are provided by email link through Google Drive.
